LG W-series Phones Including W10 Launching in India On June 26, Here’re the Features, Specifications Known So Far

As most of you might know, LG is expected to launch a new smartphone line up in India called the W-series. This smartphone range from LG is expected to be focused towards the online market, and feature budget-friendly smartphones. LG has posted teaser images of W-series smartphones on Amazon India, and moreover, there have been quite a few leaks and rumors regarding W-series devices so far, including their retail box images and hands-on pictures. However, the launch date of W-series smartphones was unknown. Well, that changes today.

Mukul Sharma, a well-known personality when it comes to leaking information of upcoming smartphones, has posted an image on Twitter, which he claims to be the invite of the India launch event of the LG’s W-series smartphones. If the image is to be believed, LG will launch the W-series smartphones in India on June 26 at 11:30 AM in New Delhi. Apart from the missing venue details, there’s no other reason not to trust the alleged event invite.

As you can see on the event invite, LG has mentioned “W-Series,” which suggests that the brand might launch more than one W-series smartphones at the event. Recent leaks and rumors suggest the same. So far, two LG W-series devices have been leaked. One with a dual-camera setup, and one with a triple-camera setup. We know that one of the devices that LG will launch under the W-series will be the LG W10, and it could be the one with the dual-camera setup. The name of the triple-camera equipped W-series smartphone is still unknown. So, what will the LG W10 offer? Here is what we know so far about the device.

LG W10 Expected Specifications

The LG W10 was recently listed on Android Enterprise, and the listing reveals that the smartphone will have a 6.2-inch display, Android 9 Pie OS, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage.

As I have mentioned earlier, the LG W10 was recently leaked in a live image, and this live image reveals that the device will have a dual-camera setup. Details regarding the dual-camera setup are still unknown but expect it to feature a primary camera with a conventional field of view and a depth sensor. The leaked live image of the W10 also reveals that the smartphone will have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a down-firing speaker.

Although there is still no information regarding the chipset featuring in the W10, the rumor is that the smartphone will either have MediaTek Helio P60 or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC. A few rumors suggest that the LG W10 will come with a 4000mAh battery pack. We still don’t know the exact price of the LG W10, but a recent leak suggests that all W-series smartphones will be priced under INR 15,000
