Realme XT Official Render Showcased, Rear Design with Quad-camera Setup Revealed

As you might remember, Realme teased its upcoming smartphone, the Realme XT, at the Realme 5 series launch event. The brand also revealed that the Realme XT will feature a 64MP camera and hinted that the device will launch in September. And today, Realme’s CMO, Xu Qi, has posted a picture of the Realme XT on Weibo, showing off the device’s rear design.

Realme XT Features 64MP Quad-camera Setup; Will Be Available in White Color Variant

As you can see, the image confirms that the Realme XT will come in some sort white color variant; similar to that of the Realme X, I guess. Then there is a quad-camera setup at the rear, which Realme already confirmed at the Realme 5 series launch event. According to Realme, this quad-camera setup will have a 64MP camera (Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor). However, there is no information on the remaining three cameras. That being said, one could be an ultrawide unit, one could be a macro camera, and the last one could be a depth-sensor.

Realme XT Has A In-Display Fingerprint Scanner and An AMOLED Display

There is, however, no trace of a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel, which leads us to believe that that the device will have an in-display fingerprint scanner. Currently, an in-display fingerprint scanner can be embedded only in OLED screen, which further leads us to believe that the Realme XT will feature an OLED display. This is something that we’ve already discovered from the silhouette of the Realme XT that Realme unveiled at the Realme 5 series launch event.

What About the Rest of The Specifications?

The Realme XT will be an advanced variant of the Realme 5 Pro. Therefore, it might have all the features of the Realme 5 Pro and more. You can expect the Realme XT to come with USB Type-C port, Bluetooth v5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, splash-resistant design, a 16MP selfie camera, 4K video recording option in the rear camera, and a 4035mAH battery with 20W fast charging.

Considering that the Realme 5 Pro has Snapdragon 712 SoC, the Realme XT could feature Snapdragon 730 chipset. Memory configurations might be similar to that of the Realme 5 Pro – 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.

What About the Realme XT’s Price?

Rumor is that the Realme XT might cost the same as Realme X. So, you can expect the Realme XT to start at INR 16,999 for the base variant, and go up to 19,999 for the top-end variant.
