It’s been just a few weeks since Xiaomi started selling the Redmi Note 8 and the Redmi Note 8 Pro in India. Both the handsets continue to remain highly sought after and are sold via Xiaomi’s trademark flash sales method. At the time of launch, the Redmi Note Pro was available in three color options; Shadow Black, Gamma Green, and Halo White. In the case of the Redmi Note 8, the three color options were Space Black, Neptune Blue, and Moonlight White. While these color options were varied enough, Xiaomi has, to give more choice to the consumer, introduced one more color option for both these phones. Let’s see what these new color options are.
Redmi Note 8, Note 8 Pro new color options
Starting November 28, the Redmi Note 8 Pro would also be available in a new Electric Blue color while the Note 8 gets a new color called Cosmic Purple. Both these color options would be up for grabs in the next sale for both these handsets. In fact, the Redmi Note 8 with the new color option will be on sale later today at 12 pm.

Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro Price in India
The Redmi Note 8 comes in two versions in India; a base option that gets 4GB RAM and 64GB storage that costs INR 9,999 and a pricier version that gets 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage priced at INR 12,999. As for the Redmi Note 8 Pro, this one is offered in three options starting with a base 6GB+64GB version priced at INR 14,999, a mid-tier 6GB+128GB variant priced at INR 15,999 and a top-end 8GB+128GB variant that will set you back by INR 17,999. The new color options for both the phones are available across all these storage versions.
Both these handsets have so far been well-received by consumers across India with each flash sale lasting only a few minutes before the phones go out of stock. These two phones compete against Realme which sells devices like the Realme 5, the Realme 5 Pro, the Realme XT and the recently launched Realme 5s in the same price range. What do you think about these new color options for the Redmi Note 8 and the Note 8 Pr0?
