Motorola has launched a bunch of smartphones lately. As it turns out, the brand will soon launch a brand new smartphone, dubbed the Moto G Fast. Though the company has not explicitly announced the arrival of the device, it turns out as if it accidentally pressed the publish button on its official YouTube channel and a short promo video for the Moto G Fast was made live for a brief period of time. While the company has taken down the video for obvious reasons, it took the internet little time to scavenge crucial information surrounding the Moto G Fast till then. As it turns out, the Moto G Fast will be a mid-range smartphone and will carry the tagline “ultra-fast, ultra-responsive”. Take a look at what the Moto G Fast will reportedly have in store for us.
Moto G Fast promo video leaked; here’s what we know so far
As mentioned earlier, the Moto G Fast appears to belong to the lower spectrum of the mid-range Android ecosystem. The device will be powered by an unnamed Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, which could most likely be a Snapdragon 665 mobile platform (we cannot be sure as of now, however). The processor will be clubbed with 3GB of RAM. Below is the video for your reference:
At the back, the Moto G Fast will feature a triple rear camera setup, which will include an ultra-wide camera with 118-degree field-of-view, a macro lens, and the main camera. The resolution of the camera is unknown for now. At the front, the Moto G Fast will feature a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, which will be located in the top left corner of the device’s display. The rear camera will be vertically aligned – the primary camera will be separate from the rest of the camera module, which will comprise of two sensors and the LED flash. The power button and the volume up and down buttons will be on the right side of the device.
Coming to the battery of the device, though the actual battery capacity is not known yet, the promotional video claims that the Moto G Fast will flaunt a two-day battery life. As far as biometrics are concerned, the Moto G Fast appears to have made room for a rear-mounted physical fingerprint scanner, which will be embedded underneath the Motorola logo. As far as the OS is concerned, the Moto G Fast will most probably boot the latest Android 10 OS out of the box.
For now, this is pretty much all the information we have surrounding the upcoming Moto G Fast smartphone, but we are likely to hear more about the device in the coming days. Whenever we do, we will keep you posted on the same. What are your thoughts on the Moto G Fast? Do let us know in the comments section below.
