OnePlus launched its latest flagship OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro smartphones a little while ago. The OnePlus 8 series of smartphones was supposed to go on its first sale in India on May 29, 2020. That, however, did not turn out to be the case and the company made an official announcement a little while ago, which stated that the company was forced to reschedule the open sales date for the OnePlus 8 series owing to some ‘unforeseen circumstances.’ This, however, won’t stop the interested buyers of the OnePlus 8 smartphone from getting their hands on the device, as the OnePlus 8 5G smartphone will go on sale today at 12 noon. OnePlus 8: Specifications and features
The OnePlus 8 sports a 6.55-inch Full HD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 1,080 x 2,400 pixel resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ certification. The display of the device sports a single punch-hole cutout mounted at the top left corner, which makes room for a 16MP selfie shooter. At the back, the OnePlus 8 sports a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 48MP primary camera with f/1.75 aperture, a 16MP 116-degree ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens.
Powering the OnePlus 8 is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, which is clubbed with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. As far as the OS is concerned, the OnePlus 8 runs on the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house OxygenOS 10.0 skin baked atop it.

Connectivity features of the OnePlus 8 include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax 2X2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (L1+L5 Dual Band) + GLONASS. The OnePlus 8 measures 160.2×72.9×8.0 mm and weighs in at 180 grams.
