Apple AirPods 3 Tipped to Launch Alongside iPhone 13 Series At Fall Event

Apple is rumoured to update its AirPods lineup later this year. Rumours of the upcoming AirPods 3 have been floating around for quite a while. The truly wireless earbuds (TWS) from Apple were previously rumoured to launch in May, which obviously did not happen. A couple of new reports now claim that the upcoming wireless earphones for iPhones will debut in Fall. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg claims that the AirPods 3 will debut this Fall. Gurman, who has maintained a fairly accurate record, said that the new AirPods will launch at the iPhone launch event. Apple AirPods 3 launch timeline tipped

Apple could launch the AirPods 3 in September. A new report from Mark Gurman suggests that the AirPods 3 will launch at the iPhone launch event. Apple typically hosts its iPhone event in September. “Look for Apple to debut its new low-end AirPods this fall, around the same time as the next iPhones,” Gurman said in his Power On newsletter. 

Previously, tipster Dylan had also claimed that the upcoming AirPods will launch in September. If rumours are to be believed, the iPhone 13 launch date is September 14. Apple is yet to make an official confirmation about the same. If true, we are likely to see new AirPods from Apple at the same event.

Details of the third-generation AirPods have leaked in the past. Apple is said to have taken a page from the AirPods Pro’s design for the budget AirPods. The third-generation earbuds will feature an AirPods Pro-like design. The new AirPods will have a smaller stem. The case will also get smaller and wider, similar to the Pro version. 

Alleged images of the third-generation AirPods were leaked earlier this year. It will sport a semi-in-ear design. Some reports suggest that the standard AirPods will not come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Apple is expected to reserve the feature for its Pro earbuds. On the contrary, a 52Audio report claimed that Apple’s entry-level TWS will feature ANC.
