Realme GT, Realme GT Master Edition Launching in India on August 18: Expected Price, Specifications

Realme is gearing up for the launch of the GT 5G series in India. The company has confirmed the launch date of its new flagship series in India. The GT 5G series will launch in India on August 18. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth confirmed the launch date via his “Ask Madhav” series. Sheth also confirmed that Realme will launch the Master Edition in India as well. Both phones have been launched in China. The GT 5G comes with a Snapdragon 888 SoC, whereas the Master Edition packs a Snapdragon 778G SoC. Realme GT 5G series India launch date

Realme GT 5G series debuts in India on August 18. The company will also launch the GT Master Edition in India alongside the flagship GT 5G. Sheth confirmed the news in his latest episode of the Ask Madhav series. He further revealed that the GT 5G will be priced upwards of Rs 30,000 in India. Both devices will pack the same specs as the global variants. 

The Realme GT 5G was previously launched in China and Europe. In China, the 12GB + 256GB RAM variant was launched for CNY 3399 (roughly Rs 39,000). The phone comes in two storage options in Europe. Its 8GB +128GB variant is launched for EUR 449, which is roughly Rs 39,850. The 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at EUR 599 (roughly Rs 53,200). Smartphone pricing in Europe is typically higher due to local taxes and duties. We can expect the device’s price in India to be considerably lower.

The GT Master Edition, on the other hand, features a Snapdragon 778G SoC. It packs a 4,300 mAh battery with 65W fast charging. The phone also has a triple-camera setup on the back with a 64MP primary camera. It was launched in China in two storage options – 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.
