Redmi 10 Specifications and Renders Leaked Through Online Retailer Listing, Launch Seems Imminent

Xiaomi, last year, unveiled the Redmi 9 series. The company launched a bunch of budget smartphones under and around Rs 10,000 in India under its budget smartphone series. The popular Redmi 9 series is due to receive an upgrade. Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of the Redmi 10 series. The company has not yet announced the official launch date of the upcoming Redmi phones. However, the device’s specifications and design renders have leaked ahead of the launch. Spotted first by tipster Mukul Sharma, the Redmi 10 is listed on several e-commerce websites ahead of the launch. Let’s take a look at the Xiaomi Redmi 10 specifications, design images and other details.

Xiaomi Redmi 10 launch imminent

Xiaomi could debut the Redmi 10 series very soon. Ahead of the launch, the design and specs of the budget Redmi phone have leaked. Tipster Mukul Sharma has spotted the device’s design images and specs listed on some e-commerce websites. The images suggest that Redmi will bring some design changes in its budget smartphone series. 

The Redmi 10 will come in Sea Blue, Pebble White and Carbon Grey colours. It has a flat hole-punch display. The cutout is at the top centre of the display, similar to the Note 10 series. On the plastic back is a quad-camera setup. The device has a 50MP primary camera. It also has an 8MP lens (possibly an ultrawide) and two 2MP sensors, which could be for depth and macro. The LED flash is placed inside the camera module.

The device will come with an 8MP front camera sensor. It will have a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. There is no mention of an LCD or AMOLED panel. However, considering the device is a budget offering, we can expect it to sport a 90Hz LCD.

Under the hood, the phone draws power from a MediaTek Dimensity G88 processor and Mali G52 GPU. It will have a 6GB + 128GB variant. We can expect more storage options as well. The phone will pack a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It will come with a USB Type-C port and support Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac.  The device measures 162 x 75.3 x 8.95mm. it runs MIUI 12 based Android 11 out of the box.
