Redmi Note 10 Lite Launching in India? But it Could Just be a Rebranded Redmi Note 9 Pro

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10 series smartphones in India earlier this year. The current Redmi Note 10 lineup in India includes devices like Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, and the Redmi Note 10S. Now, it looks like the company is prepping up to add one more new model to the Redmi Note 10 series for the Indian market. The new smartphone Xiaomi could launch in the Redmi Note 10 series is dubbed as the Redmi Note 10 Lite. The evidence of the Redmi Note 10 Lite is was first spotted by tipster Kacper Skrzypek. If we go by the information shared by Skrzypek on Twitter, the Redmi Note 10 Lite basically will be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 9 Pro.

According to the evidence found by Kacper Skrzypek, the Redmi Note 10 Lite posses a model number as 210906A1I. The second image shared by Skrzypek on Twitter has the mention of the codename “Curtana”. The “Curtana” is the codename of the Redmi Note 9 Pro which Xiaomi had introduced last year. The same device was launched in the global market with the Redmi Note 9S moniker. Considering these new findings, it looks like Xiaomi is again launching the Redmi Note 9 Pro in India with a new name – Redmi Note 10 Lite. As of now, the specifications of the Redmi Note 10 Lite smartphone remain a mystery at the moment. However, we can expect the upcoming Redmi Note 10 Lite to offer somewhat similar features as that of the Redmi Note 9 Pro, except that we might see some changes in the hardware department.

To recall, Xiaomi had launched the Redmi Note 9 Pro smartphone in India last year. The device comes with a  6.67-inch IPS LCD display that has Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the device is powered by Snapdragon 720G chipset. The smartphone packs up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It features a quad-camera setup that consists of a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front the Redmi Note 9 Pro sports a 16MP selfie camera. The device draws a power from a 5020mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging.
