Vivo has officially launched a new Y-series smartphone in India today – the Vivo Y53s. The Vivo Y53s was first launched by Vivo in the Vietnam market. The Y53s model which Vivo has launched in India comes with the 4G support. The Vivo Y53s 4G features a similar design as that of the Y53s 5G except that it comes with a different processor and offers faster 33W charging support. The key specifications of the Vivo Y53s include a 6.58-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display, octa-core Helio G80 processor, 8GB of RAM, 64MP triple-camera setup, and a 5000mAh battery which supports 33W fast charging.

Vivo Y53s Price in India, Availability

The Vivo Y53s comes in Deep Sea Blue and Fantastic Rainbow colour options. The Vivo Y53s price in India starts at Rs 19,490 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The device will be available across Vivo India E-store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Tatacliq, Bajaj EMI Store and across all partner retail stores starting from August 9th, 2021.

The Vivo Y53s features a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display that has Full HD+ 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Powering the device under the hood is MediaTek’s octa-core Helio G80 chipset. The smartphone packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also has 3GB of Virtual RAM support for better multitasking. The device has microSD card support which allows extra storage expansion up to 512GB.

As for the optics purpose, the Vivo Y53s features a triple-camera setup which consists of a 64MP primary main camera that has f/.79 aperture. The 64MP sensor is accompanied by 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video-calling the phone sports a 16MP camera that has f/2.0 aperture. Dimensions-wise the handset measures at 164×75.46×8.38mm and weighs 190 grams. The phone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that is embedded in a power button. On the software front, the Y53s runs Android 11-based FuntouchOS 11.1 out of the box.
