Paytm’s parent company – One97 Communications Limited, has launched its own native AI cloud computing platform. The platform has been named as “Paytm AI Cloud India”.
Paytm AI Cloud India:
The service has been developed by Paytm through collaboration with its holding company – Alibaba Corp, which has provided the complete infrastructure for creating this cloud computing platform. The company aims to target developers, start-ups and small businesses, to whom it plans to lease the cloud computing platform too.
The platform also comes with a “made in India” tag in order to attract more India companies. The company has come out with a statement highlighting that it will be providing the platform along with a full suite of business applications that companies can make use of, which include cloud computing, workflow automation technology, payment integration with Paytm, customer engagement and chat that will not involve the hassle of needing to own and maintain any hardware or complex software. The company has also confirmed that the platform is in line with the best in the industry security and privacy protocols.
Paytm has also confirmed that that data centre will be located within the country, so all the data on use will be stored and processed within India. Some of the other critical features of the platform include a state of the art cloud computing platform, a customer relationship management platform that improves marketing automation-related processes, ability to allow omnichannel secured conversations, a full stack payment service that can allow the user to easily accept payments from clients and vendors and also integrate their payment system with their payroll and other payment processes.
Advantages of Paytm Cloud:
This will enable a business to fully automate several aspects of its operations and there requiring fewer resources to carry out these actions or monitor them. Customer Relationship Management (CRM), payment solutions as well as Campaign management are some of the other key features of this platform. In addition to all these features, the company will also be including a full-fledged enterprise instant messaging service to enable intercompany communication, as it is in talks with a popular messaging developer – DingTalk.

Big Investment:
This new platform is not only a large commitment from the company in terms of time and resources but it has also poured in Rs. 250 crores worth of capital for this new project. As evident from the apps on offer, this cloud-based platform is solely focused on business and enterprise related applications and will appeal to these users only.
