Paytm Payments Bank Limited (PPB) said on May 15 that it will provide cash at home to help senior citizens in Delhi NCR. They have introduced ‘Cash at Home’ facilities for senior citizens and people with disabilities in the National Capital Region so they don’t need to venture out during this COVID-19 pandemic.
“‘Cash at Home’ facility is the latest among the services that the bank has launched to make the banking experience more convenient and accessible for its customers. Recently, it has launched a Direct Benefits Transfer (DBT) facility where it enabled customers to receive the benefits of over 400 government subsidies directly into their PPBL Savings Account,” the PPBL said in a release.
How To Avail Paytm Payments Bank to Deliver Cash at Home?
- Any senior citizen or person with disabilities keeping a savings account with the Paytm Payments Bank may make use of this facility.
- Just click on the ‘Cash at Home’ tab in the Paytm app and then enter the desired amount and submit your request.
The bank executive will deliver the sum demanded at its registered address within two days of the request being submitted. The minimum amount that can be submitted is Rs 1,000 and is limited to Rs 5,000.
For now the facility is limited to the Delhi-NCR area. PPBL can, however, also expand this service to various parts of the world, depending on how the operations turn out and approval.
Other banks such as State Bank of India ( SBI), HDFC Bank also offer their clients doorstep banking facilities.
