Xiaomi has finally taken the veil off its Redmi Note 9 series of smartphones globally. The company has launched two smartphones under its Redmi sub-brand, dubbed the Redmi Note 9 and the Redmi Note 9 Pro (not to be confused with the Redmi Note 9 Pro smartphone, which was launched in India earlier). Furthermore, the brand took the liberty to utilize the Redmi Note 9 series launch stage and introduced its Mi Note 10 Lite smartphone as well. Redmi Note 9, Note 9 Pro, Mi Note 10 Lite: Prices and Availability
Starting with the Redmi Note 9, the device is launched in two memory variants – one with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and one with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. While the former is priced at $199 (around Rs 14,940), the latter will cost you $249 (around Rs 18,690). Coming to the Redmi Note 9 Pro, the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of the device is priced at $269 (around Rs 20,185), while its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant will cost you $299 (or around Rs 22, 435). Lastly, the Mi Note 10 Lite is launched in two variants – the 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant of the device is priced at EUR 349 (around Rs 28,490), while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is kept at EUR 399 (around Rs 32,575).
Redmi Note 9: Specifications and Features
Starting with the display of the device, the Redmi Note 9 sports a 6.53-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 2,340 x 1,080 pixel resolution. The display of the Redmi Note 9 features up to 450 nits brightness and has a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, which is located in the top left corner of the device’s display. The device measures 162.38×77.2×8.95mm and weighs in at 199 grams. At the back, the Redmi Note 9 sports a physical fingerprint scanner.
Speaking of cameras, the Redmi Note 9 sports a 13MP selfie snapper with f/2.25 aperture. The Redmi Note 9 Pro sports a centrally-aligned single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The device features a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.48 aperture.
At the back, the Redmi Note 9 Pro boasts a quadruple rear camera setup, including a 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor with f/1.89 aperture, PDAF, EIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture, 119-degree field of view, a 2MP macro lens (5cm) with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The device measures 165.75×76.68×8.8mm and weighs in at 209 grams.
Powering the Redmi Note 9 Pro is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, which is assisted by up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which has scope for further expansion by up to 256GB with the help of an external SD card. The Redmi Note 9 Pro runs the latest Android 10 OS with MIUI 11 skin atop it.

The Mi Note 10 Lite sports a 6.47-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 2,340 x 1,080 pixel resolution. The Mi Note 10 Lite features a waterdrop notch display, which is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The device measures 157.8×74.2×9.67mm and weighs in at 208 grams.
Under the hood, the Mi Note 10 Lite is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor, which is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the software side of things, the Mi Note 10 Lite runs the latest Android 10-based MIUI 11 skin.
