WhatsApp Business Now Allows Users to Sync Details From Facebook Pages WhatsApp Business users can now link their account to the account using the company’s Facebook page to sync relevant information directly.
First spotted by Android Police, WhatsApp Business users with an existing Facebook page can now sync details directly into what this feature does. This feature also lets business users of WhatsApp run ads on Facebook that will link directly to WhatsApp when clicked on.
WhatsApp Business was initially launched in 2018 and was available only on Android devices before it was rolled out to iOS users in July 2019. Companies using WhatsApp Business can link their Facebook page to link their data, and choose to sync details such as business hours, location addresses, website links, among other details.
WhatsApp Business users can link their Facebook page to synchronize details such as business hours, location address, links to the website, and more. To do so, go to Business Settings -> Linked Accounts. You can also choose more than one category for your business by navigating to Business Settings -> Business Profile -> Edit profile -> Categories where you can see and search for the labels you want your customers to see.
It’s worth mentioning that for this to work, you’ll need the new versions of both the Facebook and WhatsApp Business applications.
The catalog feature is available on both Android and iPhone starting today, using the WhatsApp Business application. The feature is available in India as well as in Brazil, Germany, Indonesia, Mexico, the UK and the United States. This feature will be rolled out fairly soon around the world.
