Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 RAM and Storage Options Revealed Via TENAA Listing Ahead of Launch

Xiaomi is expected to host a new event in China in August 2021. The company could unveil new hardware products alongside MIU 13. One of the rumoured hardware products expected to launch in August is the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4. Initially, rumours suggested that the Mix 4 will launch as a new foldable smartphone from Xiaomi. However, recent developments suggest that the phone will instead focus on the under-display camera technology to offer an immersive viewing experience. As we gather more details, Xiaomi’s Mix 4 has visited the TENAA website. The listing on TENAA confirms some key performance unit details of the device. Xiaomi is expected to launch the Mi Mix 4 later this year. Ahead of the official launch, the device’s RAM, storage options have leaked online. The key details of the Xiaomi phone were leaked via TENAA. It confirms that the Mix 4 will launch in 8GB and 12GB RAM options. Both variants will come with 256GB of internal storage.

As expected, the device will also come with 5G network and dual-SIM support. It will run on Android, which is likely to have a customised layer of MIUI on top. 

The USP of the Mix 4 is going to be its under-display front camera. Xiaomi is said to be working on overcoming the challenges that the under-display camera tech brings with it. The company does not want to compromise on the overall display quality while introducing futuristic tech. It is rumoured to sport a 2K+ screen resolution, Xiaomi will apparently use a custom display panel with a resolution higher than the standard full HD.

A report previously stated that Mix 4 will maintain the true full-screen experience that was the central pitch of the Mix series from the start, and feature equal-sized bezels on all sides that will be super thin, for a premium viewing experience. 

Other details include a Snapdragon 888 inside, a 4,500 mAh battery and 120W fast charging. There is no official word on the Mi Mix 4 launch date at the moment. We will share more details as and when the information is out.
