Oppo is working on its first-ever Android tablet – Oppo Pad. A previous report had suggested that Oppo Pad will launch in Early 2022 in the Indian market. In a new development, we have now spotted the Oppo Pad on Geekbench benchmark database. The upcoming tablet appeared on Geekbench 4 database with model number OPD2101. Let us take a closer look at the Oppo Pad Geekbench listing.
Oppo Pad will come pre-loaded with Android 11!
The Oppo OPD2101 scored 4582 points in the single core round of the Geekbench 4 test. Whereas, in the multi-core test, the score was recorded as 12259. The Geekbench listing also confirmed the presence of an octa-core Qualcomm processor with up to 3.19 GHz frequency and codename kona.
This confirms that the upcoming tablet will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. The listing also reveals that the tablet will pack Adreno 650 GPU under the hood. To those unaware, Snapdragon 870 is built on a 7nm fabrication process, and Xiaomi has used it on its Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro. Vivo is also rumoured to make use of Snapdragon 870 for its upcoming Vivo Pad tablet.
The upcoming Oppo tablet visited Geekbench with 6GB of RAM, so a 6GB RAM variant definitely exists. Though, the company might launch it in other memory configurations as well. It will boot Android 11, which is a bit disappointing, considering, Android 12 has been around for almost 4-5 months now.
A previous leak had revealed that the Oppo tablet will come with an LCD display panel. It is said to carry a 120Hz refresh rate. The tablet is said to offer an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calls. On the back, it will pack a 13MP shooter. The Oppo Pad is said to cost about RMB 2,000 in China, which translated to about Rs. 23,250. The tablet is said to launch in H1 2022 in the Indian market.
