Moto G72 Leaked Press Renders Reveal Design Ahead of October 3 Launch

Motorola will launch the Moto G72 in India on October 3. The upcoming Motorola smartphone will sit between the Moto G62 5G and Moto G82 5G, which were launched earlier this year in India. The company has confirmed some key specifications of the phone ahead of its launch. It is also confirmed to be available for purchase via Flipkart. 

Before the complete specifications of the G72 are revealed, a new report has leaked the design and full spec sheet of the G72. The listing reveals that the Moto G72 is a 4G smartphone. Let’s take a look at the Moto G72 specifications, design and other details.

Moto G72 Design Renders and Specifications 

Moto G72 will launch in India on October 3. The phone will come with a new design compared to its outgoing predecessor, the Moto G71 5G. According to the leaked renders by 91Mobiles and tipster Evan Blass, the G72 sports a small square-shaped camera module on the back. There is a triple-camera setup on the back. The text on the camera module confirms that the phone has a 108MP main camera. There will be an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

At the front, there is a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the 16MP front camera. The phone’s display is surrounded by thin bezels. According to the report, the G72 will sport a 6.6-inch Full HD+ pOLED display with an HDR10+ certification and 120Hz refresh rate support. The device will feature dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support. It will also come with an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance.

Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM. It will have to 128GB of internal storage. The phone will also pack a 5000mAh battery under the hood. It will come preloaded with Android 12 out of the box and have a layer of MyUX on top.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Design Renders Leaked; Looks Identical to Galaxy S22 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra design renders have leaked online. A new report has now revealed the design of the upcoming Samsung flagship smartphone, which will be launched next year. According to the rumour mill, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will launch in January or February 2023. We are still a few months away from the official launch date; therefore, Samsung has not confirmed the launch date of the upcoming Galaxy flagships. 

While we wait for some more details on that front, the Smartprix report has revealed the design of the S23 Ultra. The design renders leaked in collaboration with tipster OnLeaks reveal that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have almost the same design as the S22 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Design Renders

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will be launched at the Galaxy Unpacked event early next year. The phone will come with a Galaxy Note-inspired design. According to the leaked renders, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will sport a 6.8-inch display. The screen is curved and sports a hole-punch cutout at the top centre.

The right side of the phone has the power and volume keys. At the bottom, there is the USB Type-C port, a speaker grille and the S Pen slot. The bottom edge also makes room for the SIM slot.

On the back, the camera setup design is the same as the S22 Ultra. There are three cutouts on the left and two more next to them. The sensors on the right side sit flush, whereas the leftmost sensors protrude over the rear panel.

The metal frame is also said to be larger than the S22 Ultra. According to the report, the S23 Ultra measures 163.4 x 78.1 x 8.8mm, whereas the S22 Ultra measured 163.3 x 77.9 x 8.9mm. 

Some other details of the phone have leaked in the past. The phone is likely to sport a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display. Its hole-punch cutout will house a 40MP front camera. On the back, the primary camera will use a 200MP sensor. It will also include a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and a 12MP telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom.

The device is also expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC or Exynos 2300 SoC depending on the region of its launch. It is likely to pack a 5000mAh battery and offer at least 25W wired fast charging support and wireless charging. Samsung Galaxy S23 series is expected to run Android 13-based One UI 5.0 out of the box.

The G72 will launch in three colours – White, Green and Black. Motorola is also likely to rework the design and launch the G72 with a new camera module layout. The device will sport a triple-camera setup on the back. It will feature a 108MP main camera sensor. OnLeaks did not reveal the camera specs of the other two sensors but the report stated that the G72 could feature an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there will be a 16MP front camera.

The front camera will be packed inside the hole-punch cutout at the top centre of the display. The screen size is unknown at the moment. We can expect the G72 to sport a 6.5-inch display.  Considering the phone has an in-display scanner, the G72 will also feature an AMOLED panel. It is unknown if the phone will feature a standard 60Hz screen like the G71 or get a 90Hz/ 120Hz display.

The G72 will feature a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a speaker grille at the bottom edge. The right side will house the power and volume buttons. Whatsapp Call Links Are Here to Replace Regular Conference Calls: A Feature That Rivals Google Meet, Microsoft Teams

WhatsApp introduced audio calling way back in 2015 and the video calling feature was added in 2016. A couple of years later, in 2018, WhatsApp added the ability to make group video calls as well as group audio calls. Now, the Meta-owned messaging platform has introduced a new way to initiate a call on the app.

WhatsApp has announced Call Links, which works similar to other popular meeting apps like Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and more. This feature will roll out to all WhatsApp users starting this week for both audio calls as well as video calls. Let’s take a look at the details.

Call Links on WhatsApp

The feature is pretty much self-explanatory here, you create a link for a call and share it with up to 32 members via personal message or you can post the link in a group. Up to 32 members can join the call using the link shared. This works for both audio calls and video calls. One advantage here is that you can share the link with anyone who is not in your contact as well.

Since it’s a link, we think you can share the link outside of the WhatsApp app as well, as anyone who clicks the link will be taken to the WhatsApp call. This feature should also work for those users who have already received the ability to make audio and video calls on WhatsApp Desktop and WhatsApp Web.

How to Create Call Links on WhatsApp

1. Open WhatsApp on your smartphone
2. Swipe and Go to the Calls tab
3. Tap on “Create call link”
4. A Unique link will be created for your call
5. Share the link with people with whom you want to have an audio/video call

Currently, the feature is rolling out and more users will get the ability to create call links soon. In addition, WhatsApp is also testing secure encrypted video calling for up to 32 people.

Compared to the rivals like Google Meet and Teams, the one major feature that WhatsApp is missing now is the screen sharing feature. However, looking at the direction WhatsApp is moving, eventually, that might be added to the app as well.

OnePlus Nord Watch is confirmed to launch in India soon. The company started teasing the launch of its first smartwatch under the Nord branding a week back. Going by these specifications, it looks like the Nord smartwatch will be a budget smartwatch and it should be priced under Rs 5,000 as it misses out on some premium features like built-in GPS, Bluetooth calling support, and voice assistant 一 which are usually found on smartwatches on the sub Rs 10,000 segment.

The OnePlus Nord Watch is expected to be launched in India on September 28th and it will be available for purchase on Amazon.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra certified by 3C with 25W charger

Samsung’s Galaxy S23 series is slated to arrive early next year and one of the lineup models has just passed through 3C certification in China. The corresponding model number SM-S9180 denotes the highest-tier Galaxy S23 Ultra model. In the certification, the device is listed to support a maximum of 25W charging (11V @ 2.25A).
