Realme GT Neo 3T vs Nothing Phone 1 vs Google Pixel 6A: Price in India, Specifications and Features Compared

Realme has come out with a new GT series phone in the market this week, and this time it is the GT Neo 3T which looks to appeal to the power users with its features, and other aspects. The GT Neo 3T builds on the performance quotient of the GT series from the company, and this time its pricing makes it an attractive proposition, especially with the hardware on offer.

The most intriguing part about this device is that it can easily compete with phones that are priced much higher, like the Nothing Phone (1) and even the Google Pixel 6a for that matter. So, we decided to give you a detailed lowdown on all three phones, and explain which of these phones is worth your hard-earned money.

Realme GT Neo 3T vs Nothing Phone 1 vs Google Pixel 6A: Price in India

Realme has launched the GT Neo 3T with a starting price of Rs 29,999 in India, which gets you the 6GB + 128GB variant. Realme is also giving the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB versions that are priced at Rs 31,999 and Rs 33,999 respectively.

The Nothing Phone (1) starts with 8GB+128GB and is priced at Rs 32,999. You can get more storage with the 8GB+256GB model which costs Rs 35,999. While the top model with 12GB+256GB is priced at Rs 38,999.

The Google Pixel 6a in India is available with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. You only have this one model which is priced at Rs 43,999. However, during the Flipkart Big Billion Sale period, you can get it for as low as Rs 27,699, which makes it a steal of a deal. Flipkart will offer a discount of over Rs 16,000 on the new Pixel 6a. This makes it a worthy competitor in this price range of the Realme GT Neo 3T and Nothing Phone 1.

Realme GT Neo 3T vs Nothing Phone 1 vs Google Pixel 6A: Design

Like the previous GT models from Realme, this one leaves you with the imprints of motorsports. The panel at the back features chequered flag textured finish which looks quite appealing in the yellow colour. The panel is made of plastic but surprisingly you don’t have to worry about fingerprints spoiling the look.

Nothing Phone (1) not only impresses you with its design but also the build quality. It has been built using toughened glass thanks to Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both sides. While the frame is made of recycled aluminium. The transparent design at the back, the use of 900 LEDs to form the Glyph interface, shows the mobile industry that phones can still look different, and that it does to a good effect.

Google’s Pixel 6a borrows its design from the premium Pixel 6 series, but the cost cutting measure has forced the company to switch to a plastic back panel. Still, it brings a refreshing approach to the segment, and definitely catches your eye. The Pixel 6a is IP67 rated as well.

Realme’s phone weighs 194 grams and comes with a thickness of 8.65mm. Out of the three, Pixel 6a weighs the lightest at 178 grams, but is also bulgier at 8.9mm in thickness. The Phone (1) comes with 8.3mm thickness and weighs 193.5 grams. If you like something wacky, the Nothing Phone (1) is the one to go for, but the Pixel 6a comes a close second in this regard.

Realme GT Neo 3T vs Nothing Phone 1 vs Google Pixel 6A: Display

Realme GT Neo 3T sports a 6.62-inch AMOLED display that gives you Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate screen. The screen also offers a 360Hz touch sampling rate, 1300nits peak brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. The display gets a punch hole cutout that comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Nothing Phone (1) comes with a 6.55-inch OLED display with 120Hz screen refresh rate, but you could say the OLED panel is not as good as the Pixel 6a.

The Pixel 6a sports a 6.1-inch OLED display and offers full HD+ resolution. But the biggest drawback is the support for a 60Hz refresh rate screen, which only comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. Most of you might prefer the higher refresh rate screen, so it becomes a straight choice between Realme and Nothing.

Realme GT Neo 3T vs Nothing Phone 1 vs Google Pixel 6A: Performance and UI

Realme GT Neo 3T is bringing the reliable Snapdragon 870 chipset to the sub-Rs 30,000 category. This hardware has become known for its efficient performance, which even suits heavy users. It is offered with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage which is not expandable. Realme is offering its proprietary Realme UI 3.0, based on Android 12 out of the box.

The Nothing Phone (1) is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G+ processor with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The Phone (1) runs on Nothing OS based on Android 12 with no bloatware to be worried about.

With the Google Pixel 6a, you get to experience the all-new Tensor processor which has been developed by Google in-house. This 5nm process chip also has the Titan M2 security chip. The Tensor chip is paired with 6GB RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, which means the space is not expandable. Google offers you the stock Android experience on this Pixel phone, which gets faster updates than most Android smartphones in the market.

Then again, if you ask us, the Tensor and the Snapdragon 870 chips will give you better performance in the high-end range than what the Nothing Phone (1) can offer.

Realme GT Neo 3T vs Nothing Phone 1 vs Google Pixel 6A: Cameras

Realme Neo 3T gets a triple-rear camera setup that includes a 64MP primary sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The front of the phone has a 16MP shooter for video calls and selfies.

The Nothing Phone (1) comes with a primary 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS support and a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide sensor. The Phone (1) features a 16MP selfie snapper.

With the Pixel 6a, you get a dual-camera setup, which consists of a 12.2MP main camera with Æ’/1.7 aperture and a 12MP Æ’/2.2 ultrawide camera. The main sensor offers OIS and EIS support. It has an 8MP selfie camera on the front.

Now, it goes with saying that Pixel 6a might carry the lower megapixel count of the three, but its quality, thanks to Google’s optimised software processing, is likely to be better than what Realme and Nothing have to offer.

Realme GT Neo 3T vs Nothing Phone 1 vs Google Pixel 6A: Battery

The Realme GT Neo 3T comes equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit that gives you 80W fast charging support, the fastest of the three phones mentioned here.

Nothing Phone (1) features a 4,500mAh battery which gives you 33W fast wired charging and you also get 15W wireless charging support, along with 5W reverse wireless charging. But you will have to spend extra on a charger.

Google Pixel 6a packs a smaller 4,410mAh battery which only supports 18W charging speed out of the box. As you can see, not only does Realme give you a bigger battery, but you can also quickly charge it, which the other two cannot offer.

Realme GT Neo 3T vs Nothing Phone 1 vs Google Pixel 6A: Verdict

Realme GT Neo 3T is a competitive package that has an AMOLED display, a powerful chip and fast charging support. The cameras should easily take care of your basic needs and even more. The pricing makes it further appealing. Coming to the Nothing Phone (1), you have a refreshing take on a phone’s design, and the glyph interface makes it eye-catching.

But the hardware is underpowered compared to what Realme and Google have to offer. When it comes to the cameras, we can easily pick the Pixel 6a over the two, but with the battery, we would again pick the GT Neo 3T. So, yeah, Realme GT Neo 3T wins in four out of the six aspects that are considered by a smartphone buyer these days.
