Honor might not be launching smartphones in India in the past few years, but the company has been active when it comes to laptops. Honor re-entered the laptop space in India back in 2022 and ever since then, the brand has announced Honor MagicBook X14 and Honor MagicBook X15 back (March 2023) and more recently, the company announced refreshed MagicBook X14 with 11th gen Intel processors back in January 2023.
Now, the company is gearing up to launch the 2023 edition of the Honor MagicBook X series machines with new 12th gen Intel core processors. The company is now all set to launch the Honor MagicBook X14 (2023) and also for the first time in India, the brand will also launch a 16-inch laptop in the MagicBook series called the Honor MagicBook X16 (2023).
Ahead of the launch in India, both laptops have been listed on Amazon and most of the specs and features have been revealed. Let us take a look at the details.
Honor MagicBook X14 and X16 (2023): Specifications
The Honor MagicBook X14 (2023) will come with a 14-inch FHD IPS panel with an 88% screen-to-body ratio, 16.5mm thickness, and will weigh 1.4 kg. On the other hand, the X16 (2023) will feature a 16-inch Full HD IPS screen with an 89% screen-to-body ratio, 17.9mm thickness, and will weigh 1.75 kg. Both offer a 16:10 aspect ratio and offer up to 300 nits of brightness.
Underneath, these laptops will be powered by Intel’s 12th gen Core i5-12450H processor. Both laptops come with 8GB and 16GB LPDDR4X RAM options and 512GB SSD storage. Powering these laptops is a 60Whr battery, which is rated to last up to 9 hours of work. This is paired with a 65W Type-C fast charger.
Other features will include an additional SSD slot for storage expansion, a backlit keyboard, a dedicated numpad (only on X16), a fingerprint scanner, a webcam, 2 x USB A ports, one HDMI, and a Type-C port. More details like pricing, sale date, and offers will be revealed in the coming days.
