Vivo S1 Pro India Launch Set for January 4, Here Are the Key Specifications, Features

Vivo is set to ring the new year with the launch of a new budget handset. The company has started to tease a new handset called the Vivo S1 Pro across its website and social media handles. A dedicated landing page for the S1 Pro has also gone live on Amazon, indicating that the S1 Pro would be available on that platform. As of now, it is not clear if the S1 Pro would be an Amazon exclusive. Even if it is, there is a good chance that Vivo will also sell this phone via traditional brick and mortar stores. Anyway, let us now quickly delve into the hardware specifications and key features of the Vivo S1 Pro.

Vivo S1 Pro Specifications, Features

While Vivo is yet to officially reveal the specifications of the India version of the Vivo S1 Pro, the phone is already sold in the Philippines. The Philippine variant of the handset comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC and is offered in a single 8GB RAM version with 128GB of onboard storage.  The handset also packs in a large 4,500 mAh battery. The display on the S1 Pro measures 6.38-inches across with FullHD+ resolution. The Vivo S1 Pro also gets a competent camera setup that consists of triple rear cameras and a single 32MP front-facing camera. The primary rear camera uses a 48MP sensor. This is apart from two other rear-facing cameras — one for ultra-wide-angle shoots and the other for macro photography.

In the Philippines, the Vivo S1 Pro comes in two color options; Fancy Sky and Knight Black. There is no word if India will also get these same color options. What is also important to note here is that Vivo had also launched a Chinese version of the S1 Pro with a completely different design. However, looking at the teaser images shared on the Vivo India page, we are almost certainly getting the one that was launched in the Philippines.

We still do not know the pricing details of the Vivo S1 Pro — but we would not be surprised if Vivo positions this handset in the INR 15K to 20k price bracket once it launches here on January 4.
