Not too long ago, Realme started teasing its brand new Realme V5 smartphone launch in China. The Realme V5 is the first device in the Realme V series of smartphones and will have a somewhat redesigned rear camera module and a single punch-hole selfie snapper. Finally, we have a confirmation about the launch date of the device. Notably, the Realme V5 will launch in China on August 3, 2020. The device has already been listed on Tmall, which not only reveals its launch date, but also showcases the device renders and its specifications. Realme V5 listed online ahead of launch
As seen in the images above, this is what the Realme V5 will look like. The product page consists of a promotional poster for the device, which suggests that the Realme V5 will launch in China on August 3. Key specifications and features of the device have also appeared. The Realme V5 will feature a 48MP quadruple rear camera setup. At the front, the Realme V5 will feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a 1,080 x 2,400 pixel resolution. The device will sport a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. There will be three color variants to choose from – Silver, Blue, and Black.
Under the hood, the Realme V5 will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor, which will be paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. Coming to the OS, the Realme V5 will boot the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house Realme UI skin baked on top of it. Lastly, the render images of the device suggest that the Realme V5 will feature an under-display fingerprint scanner.
