[Exclusive] Poco M3 New Renders Show Off the Design Up Close, Includes a Textured Back and Dual Tone Camera Module

Poco is launching a new budget smartphone called the Poco M3 on November 24. Ahead of the official launch, noted Indian tipster Ishan Agarwal has shared new Poco M3 design renders exclusively with MySmartPrice. The design renders give us a closer look at the design, including the textured rear panel. The smartphone’s design was leaked yesterday by 91Mobiles. However, the new design renders leaked by Agarwal give us a better idea of how the device would look like. Poco M3 will feature a dual-tone camera module housing three camera sensors and an LED flash. Let’s take a look at the Poco M3 design renders, its specifications, and features.

New Poco M3 renders leaked ahead of the official launch

Poco M3 renders shared by Agarwal with MySmartPrice offer a closer look at the design and display. The device will come in three colours – Blue, Black, and Yellow. Poco M3 will come with a textured rear panel that is likely to offer a better grip and in-hand feel. The top portion of the rear panel will sport a large black-coloured rectangular block. There will another rectangular block housing a triple-camera sensor setup with LED flash.

The right edge will house the power button-cum-fingerprint scanner and the volume keys, whereas the left edge will have a SIM-card slot.

At the front, the phone will have a waterdrop-style notch at the top of the display for the front-facing camera. Poco M3 specifications tipped previously suggest that the smartphone will have a 6.53-inch Full HD+ Dot-Drop display. There is no mention of the display type, but we can expect it to be an IPS LCD panel.

Under the hood, the smartphone is likely to draw its power from an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor and come paired with 4GB RAM. The device is expected to boot Android 10-based MIUI 12 skin out of the box.

The smartphone is also said to feature a 48MP primary camera in its triple-camera setup. Details about the remaining two cameras and the front camera are relatively unknown for now.

Poco M3 will also feature a beefy 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

As of now, this is all the information that we have on the upcoming Poco smartphone, but since the launch date is not too far from now, we can expect to hear more about it in the coming days. Pricing and other specifications will be revealed on November 24 at the official launch event.
