Motorola recently launched its Moto G series smartphone called the Moto G 5G in the European market and now it seems that the company is planning to launch the smartphone in India. We have noticed that the smartphone is listed on Flipkart confirming the launch date of the Moto G 5G smartphone. According to the microsite, the smartphone will be launched on November 30th and it will be exclusively up for grabs via Flipkart. The Moto G 5G was launched in the European market at a price point of EUR 299.99 which is approx Rs 26,000 in INR. We can expect the smartphone to launch in India around the same price point. The smartphone was launched in Frosted Silver and Volcanic Gray colour options. The OnePlus Nord will be a great competition for the Moto G 5G as both the smartphones are in the same price segment.
Moto G 5G Specification and Features
Thanks to European launch, we already know a lot about the Moto G 5G. The smartphone was launched with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the Moto G 5G draws power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset, paired with Adreno 610 GPU. The smartphone is backed by a 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, which can be further expanded up to 1TB via microSD card.
On the optics part, the Moto G 5G flaunts a square-shaped triple camera setup at the back. The rear camera consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with quad pixel technology. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with 118-degree FoV and a 2-megapixel macro sensor, along with an LED flash. The front camera setup includes a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. The smartphone is also IP52 certified, which makes it water-resistant.
The handset is fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery with 20W TurboPower fast charge support. It runs Android 10 OS with My UX on top. The Moto G 5G offers, 5G SA/NSA Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, NFC and USB Type-C port.
