Motorola recently introduced the Moto G9 Plus smartphone in Brazil this year. The smartphone is a mid-range offering from the company that runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset. Moto G9 Plus gets BIS certification, launch seems imminent
As you can see the Indian BIS certification image, a Motorola smartphone with model numbers XT2083-7 and XT2087-3 has been recently certified. Although the certification does not mention that it is the Moto G9 Plus, the XT-2087 model number is meant for the Moto G9 Plus. This means that the smartphone might get launched soon in India.

Coming to specifications, the smartphone flaunts 6.8-inch Full HD+ MaxVision LCD display. The Moto phone comes with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels with HDR10 support. The phone gets its power from the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor along with Adreno 618 GPU.
The phone packs a quad-camera setup with 64MP primary lens with f/1.8 aperture. This accompanied by an 8MP wide-angle lens with 118-degree FoV and f/2.2 aperture. The phone also supports 2MP macro shooter and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 16MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling.
The Moto G9 Plus packs 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is expandable via microSD card slot. The handset packs 5,000mAh battery with 30W TurboPower fast charging support. The smartphone runs on Android 10 operating system and comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of connectivity, it supports dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz +5GHz), NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C port. The phone measures 170 x 78.1 x 9.7 mm and weighs 223 grams.
