Tecno recently introduced its new gaming smartphone, the Tecno POVA, in Nigeria. The latest smartphone comes loaded with a host of interesting features. It offers multilayer graphite along with conductive gel to improve heat dissipation. The phone comes loaded with a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, quad-camera setup, Android 10, 6,000mAh battery, and more. Tecno Pova India Launch Confirmed

Tecno Pova is all set to launch in India on December 4th. Flipkart has set up a dedicated microsite for the upcoming smartphone, which reveals the launch date. The event will kickstart from 12:00 PM and might be live-streamed on the company’s official social media channels. That said, the phone was just recently introduced in Nigeria.

Tecno Pova India Price (Expected)

Tecno Pova is already available for purchase from the Philippines and comes with a price tag of PHP 6,999. This roughly translates to Rs 10,750. So, the phone might come around Rs 10,999 or Rs 9,999 when it will launch in India. The Tecno Pova is available in Magic Blue, Speed Purple, and Dazzle Black colour options.

Tecno Pova gaming smartphone comes loaded with some interesting design language. The phone offers thermal conductive material along with 3D multi-layer graphite finish for better heat dissipation. The back panel comes with a quad-camera setup at the top-left corner along with a fingerprint sensor. There is a red line that goes from the centre of the back panel to give some gaming-centric look. The front panel comes with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

Tecno smartphone features a 6.8-inch HD+ Dot-in Display with a screen resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The phone gets its power from the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset along with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The memory is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot.

The phone features a quad-camera setup with a combination of 13MP primary lens, 2MP second sensor, 2MP third lens, and AI HD Lens with quad-LED flash. On the front, there is an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calling. The phone runs on Android 10 with HiOS on top of it. It features a 6,000mAh battery and offers an 18W Dual IC Flash Charge solution. The company claims that 10 minutes of charge can provide 2,4 hours of calls or 20 hours of music. In terms of connectivity, you get dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, OTG, GPS, dual-SIM and USB Type-C port. The phone measures 171.23 x 77.57 x 9.4 mm.
