Honor has added a new member to its Band lineup with the launch of Honor Band 6. The latest fitness band tries to bridge the gap between a fitness band and a smartwatch with its new design. The new fitness band is wider and thicker than its predecessor, the Honor Band 5. It can be considered as a mini version of the Honor Watch ES. The band comes with a large AMOLED display, 24/7 heart-rate monitor, 10 different sports modes, NFC support, and more. Let’s take a closer look at the latest fitness band from Honor.

Honor Band 6 price, availability

The Honor Band 6 price is CNY 249 for the non-NFC variant, which roughly translates to Rs 2,776. The NFC version is priced at CNY 289 (approx. Rs 3,222). The smartwatch is available for pre-order in China and will go on sale from November 11. The fitness band is available in Meteorite Black, Seagull Grey, and Coral Powder colour options. There is no information about the Honor Band 6 India price and availability at the moment.

Honor Band 6 specifications

The latest fitness band from Honor comes with a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 194 x 368 pixels. The screen also supports 2.5D curved glass and offers a plethora of watch faces. The fitness band offers gestures navigation and there is no capacitive key. There is a red-colour physical button on the right side of the device to wake up the screen. The left side of the fitness band features Honor branding.

The latest Honor Band 6 equips 10 different sports modes including outdoor running, indoor running, outdoor walking, outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, swimming, free training, and more. The device is waterproof up to 50 metres. Moreover, the band comes with heart rate tracking along with blood oxygen monitoring and sleep tracking. It also features women’s health management that tracks the menstrual cycle. The NFC variant of the band offers contactless payments and voice assistant.

The fitness band supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and once connected to a smartphone, it shows notifications. One can also control music with the fitness band. The device packs 180mAh battery, which the company claims can last up to 14 days on a single charge. It also comes with a proprietary magnetic cradle to charge the device. The company claims that the fitness band can be charged fully in about 65 minutes. The fitness tracker measures 43mm x 25.4mm x 11.45mm and weighs about 18g without a strap.
