Netfllix Streamfest: Service Will Offer Free Streaming in India on December 5-6 of Films, Original Series, Reallity Shows and More

Netflix the OTT platform is planning to offer free access to its services to all non-subscribers in India. According to the report, the company is providing this offering to Indian users between December 5-6th. This can be a strategy to attract more subscribers to the platform. Just to recall, last year Netflix stopped offering the first month free trial in India.

The company is promoting this as StreamFest, under this promotional offer Netflix is allowing users to watch the entire range of categories including Netflix original series, documentaries, movies, and a lot more among the others. Notably, the company is offering this free access in standard-definition (SD) stream only, so don’t expect HD or 4K streaming. Moreover, Netflix might limit the number of users and there is a possibility that you will end up receiving an error text reading “StreamFest is at capacity”.

How to Access Free Netflix 

• First, you need to download the app on your smartphone or you can head to the website on your PC browser.
• If you already have a Netflix account then log into the account otherwise you have to sign up.
• To sign up you need to fill information like name, email or phone number, and password.
• Do note that you can start watching content on dedicated StreamFest page (Netflix.com/StreamFest).

“Anyone in India can watch all the blockbuster films, the biggest series, award-winning documentaries, and entertaining reality shows for two whole days,” Netflix India vice president for content Monika Shergill wrote in a blog.

You can watch the content on Android and iOS smartphones, smart TVs, gaming consoles, Chromecast, or on a web browser. Also at the time of signing up, you need not have to add a payment method or card details.
