Google launched its Pixel 4a smartphone back in August this year in Just Black colour shade, but the search giant Google has now launched a new colour variant of the phone. Yes! You read it correctly, the company has launched the Pixel 4a in Barely Blue colour. Besides the colour change, the smartphone remains the same, it comes with a polycarbonate body with a matte finish. The newly launched Google Pixel 4a (review) Barely Blue colour variant is up for grabs on Google Store in the United States at $349 which is approx Rs 25,970 in INR. So far the company has not revealed anything regarding the availability of this variant in India. Hope we can see the new colour soon in India as well.
Google Pixel 4a Barely Blue Specifications
Specification wise the Barely Blue arrives with similar specifications like the Just Black. Just to recall, the Google Pixel flaunts a 5.8-inch full HD+ OLED display. It has a punch-hole camera setup placed at the top left corner of the phone to accommodate the selfie camera sensor. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 730G SoC, clubbed with 6GB RAM and Titan M Security chip.
On the optical front, the Pixel 4a offers a dual pixel autofocus 12.2-megapixel single-camera setup placed at the top left corner of the rear panel in a square shape with an LED flash. The rear camera also comes with Optical Image Stabilization. Upfront, the smartphone houses an 8-megapixel AI-powered camera setup for selfies and video calls.
The camera also sports features like HDR+, dual exposure controls, Top Shot, Night Sight, Portrait mode, and more among the others. The Google Pixel 4a is fuelled by a 3140mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The smartphone runs on Android 11 along with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
