Samsung Galaxy M12 is reported to launch in India by the end of this year as the new budget-centric smartphone in the Galaxy M-series. Interestingly, Samsung is also gearing up to launch Galaxy F12 smartphone, which is said to be an entry-level smartphone. The report claimed that the Galaxy F12 might be a rebadged version of a Galaxy M-series phone. Now, folks at 91mobiles have published some live images along with some specifications of the Galaxy M12 or Galaxy F12. The live image shows the body of the upcoming Samsung smartphone. The publication says that the images of the back panel have the SM-M127F/SM-F127G model number etched on it. This could either mean that the phone could be Samsung Galaxy M12 or Samsung Galaxy F12. Moreover, the report says that there is an off-chance that the phone might be launched as Galaxy M05.
Talking about the live images, the back panel of the upcoming smartphone will come with a textured finish with Samsung branding at the bottom. There is a square camera module present on the top-left corner of the panel along with a cutout for the LED flash right beneath it. The report says that the upcoming smartphone might come with a quad-camera setup. Interestingly, there is no fingerprint sensor present on the back panel.
The right side of the panel shows cutout for volume rockers and power on/off button. The cutout for the power on/off button is slightly big. This means that the Galaxy M12 or Galaxy F12 might feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Moving on, the base panel comes with a Type-C cutout along with a 3.5mm audio jack, and speaker grille. The top panel has a cutout for a microphone.
That said, the publication reveals that the Samsung Galaxy M12 or Galaxy F12 smartphone is currently under development at Samsung’s facility in India. Moving on, industry sources told the publication that the Samsung Galaxy M12/F12 will feature a 6.7-inch display with punch-hole design. The smartphone is said to feature a 7,000mAh battery, which is similarly found in the Galaxy M51.
