iQOO is gearing up for the launch of the iQOO 7 in India. The company has confirmed the launch of its upcoming gaming smartphone in India but the exact date remains unknown. Ahead of the launch, another smartphone from the Vivo sub-brand is likely to launch in India. The iQOO Neo 5, which was launched earlier this month in China, is likely to launch soon in India. According to a 91Mobiles report, the Neo 5 India variant has been spotted on the Google Play Console. The smartphone has been listed on the website with Snapdragon 870 SoC. iQOO Neo 5 India launch seems imminent. The Indian variant of the smartphone has been spotted on the Google Play Console.

The smartphone with the model number Vivo I2012, which is dubbed as the iQOO Neo 5 India variant, has been spotted on the Google Play Console. The listing reveals some of the key specifications of the device.  First spotted by 91Mobiles, the listing reveals that the phone will come with a Qualcomm SM8250 ac SoC. This means that the device will draw power from a Snapdragon 870 processor. The listing further reveals that the phone will come with 8GB of RAM and run on Android 11 out of the box. It will have a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels.

The image attached with the listing also reveals that it will have a curved display with a punch-hole mounted in the top-centre.

We already know the specifications of the smartphone, courtesy of its launch in China.

iQOO Neo 5 specifications

The Neo 5 features a 6.62-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone comes with HDR10+ certification and 1300 nits of brightness. There is a hole-punch cutout for the 16MP front camera. It comes with a triple-camera setup on the back. The phone has a 48MP primary camera, a 13MP and 2MP camera sensors. The primary IMX598 sensor comes with OIS support.  

Under the hood, it will get powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. It will come with LPDDR4x RAM & UFS 3.1 of internal storage. The device packs 8GB/ 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It packs a 4,400 mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. The Neo 5 runs on Android 11-based Origin OS 1.0 out of the box.
