Xiaomi has confirmed the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 launch date. The budget smart band will launch on March 29 at the Xiaomi Spring Conference event.
The teaser poster does not reveal the design but confirms that the smart band will come with fitness and health-related workout modes. It is also teased to offer good battery life.
Recently, live images of the upcoming smart band had leaked. The images revealed that the device will share the same design language as its predecessor. It will come with a pill-shaped display. Rumours are rife that the Band 6 will sport a larger display than the Mi Band 5. To recall, the last year’s Mi Band 5 offers a 1.1-inch display. The live images also confirm the presence of magnetic charging.
The Mi Band 6 has already received the BIS certification, hinting at an imminent launch in India. The device with the model number XMSH15HM was also spotted on the Indonesia Telecom website.
Previously, Xiaomi’s smart band was spotted on the Zepp app. The app’s source code data disclosed that the Mi Band 6 will arrive with Alexa and SpO2 sensor support. The fitness tracker is also tipped to pack a built-in GPS. The Mi Band 6 will offer 30 activity modes and some of the new models include dance, Zumba, cricket, basketball, and kickboxing.
