Alongside the Reno 6 series smartphones, OPPO has launched the OPPO Enco Free2 true wireless earbuds in China yesterday. The OPPO Enco Free2 arrives as a successor to the OPPO Enco Free, which was introduced back in December 2020. The essential hallmark of the newly unveiled Enco Free2 is that it can achieve 42dB depth of active noise reduction. This comparatively is higher than the 40dB noise reduction, which Xiaomi’s latest FlipBuds Pro offers. Speaking about other essential features, the Enco Free2 uses Bluetooth v.5.2 for connectivity purposes, has Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) support, 10mm dynamic drivers, and it offers 30 hours battery life with case when the ANC is off. The OPPO Enco Free2 comes in Galaxy White and Midnight Black colours options. The Enco Free2 is priced at around 599 Yuan (Rs. 6,810). Customers will get 50 Yuan off on an initial purchase. Additionally, if users buy this along with the Reno 6 series, they will get 100 Yuan off, mentions OPPO. This new earbud will go on sale in China starting from June 5th.

The OPPO Enco Free2 has an in-ear design, compared to the semi-open design which we saw in the predecessors. As mentioned above, these earbuds have Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) support. The Enco Free2 as offers 42dB depth active noise reduction. As per OPPO, these newly announced earbuds use a three-core noise reduction chip, which improves noise reduction and achieves a more firm noise reduction effect. OPPO also claims that the Enco Free2 can offer isolation from wind noise as well. The earbuds are tuned in by a Danish audio company, Dynaudio.
The Enco Free2 are IP54 certified, compared to the IPX4 rating which we saw in the Enco Free. With the IP54 certification, the earbuds can withstand a limited amount of water splash or dust. The earbuds have Bluetooth 5.2 low-latency dual transmission technology and low-latency gaming mode which can achieve 94ms latency. It also features triple microphones for AI call noise reduction and has touch controls for volume and music control. As for the battery capacity, the Enco Free2 packs a 41mAh battery which offers up to 6.5 hours playback with ANC OFF and 4 hours battery life with ANC ON. The case has a 480mAh battery that offers up to 30 hours total battery life without ANC and 20 hours with ANC ON.
