OnePlus Nord 2 8GB and 12GB RAM Variants Goes on Sale Today: Price, Launch Offers, Specifications

OnePlus unveiled the Nord 2 earlier this month in India. The premium smartphone from OnePlus replaces the original Nord that was launched earlier this year. The Nord 2 comes with upgraded internals and a design similar to the OnePlus 9. It comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC under the hood. The phone also features a 50MP triple-camera setup on the back. OnePlus’ new smartphone packs a 4500 mAh battery under the hood. OnePlus Nord 2 sale details

The Nord 2 goes on sale via Amazon and OnePlus India online store. The sale is currently live for OnePlus Red Cable and Amazon Prime members.

It comes in three storage options. The base 6GB + 128GB option is priced at Rs 27,999. The 12GB + 256GB option is priced at Rs 34,999. There is also an 8GB + 128GB variant sitting between the two options and is priced at Rs 29,999. The 6GB RAM variant will go on sale in August. It is available in two colours – Blue Haze, Gray Sierra. The third colour option, Green Wood, will go on sale in August. 

As part of the launch offers, customers can avail a Rs 1,000 instant discount and no-cost EMI options for up to six months on HDFC Bank credit cards. The offer is applicable only on OnePlus.in. Customers on Amazon can claim a 10 per cent instant discount on transactions made using HDFC Bank credit and debit cards.

Specifications and features

The Nord 2 features a 6.43-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. The flat display has thin bezels and a hole-punch cutout for the front camera. It comes with HDR10+ certification and has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back.

On the back is a triple-camera setup. It has a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation support. The camera module also houses an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner and comes with AI face unlock support. 

The device draws power from a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI SoC. It comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone packs a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.2 , WiFi 6, USB Type-C port, etc. The device runs Android 11-based Oxygen OS 11.3 out of the box.
