Redmi K50 Series Device with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 120W Fast Charging Spotted on Geekbench, TENAA, and 3C

After launching the Xiaomi 12 series devices, the Chinese tech gaint is gearing up to launch the Redmi K50 lineup. Earlier this week, Lu Weibing, Redmi General Manager, shared the first teaser for the upcoming Redmi K50 series. In a new development, a Redmi K50 series handset with model number 21121210C has been spotted on Geekbench, 3C, and TENAA certification websites. The handset will offer Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, and 120W charging, so this could be the Redmi K50 Pro.

Redmi 21121210C could be the Redmi K50 Pro!

The Redmi 21121210C scored 1226 points in the single-core round of the Geekbench 5 test. Whereas, the score in the multi-core test was 3726 as per the listing. Geekbench listing further reveals that the handset will pack an octa-core processor with 1 + 3 + 4 core configuration, 3.0GHz peak clock frequency, and codename taro. This confirms that the upcoming Redmi 21121210C will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.

The Redmi 21121210C also appeared 3C certification website revealing the presence of 120W fast charging. The geekbench listing also confirms that the handset will pack 12GB of RAM, and come preloaded with Android 12. Based on the processor and charging capabilities, we can speculate that the Redmi 21121210C is the Redmi K50 Pro.

To those unaware, last year, the Redmi K40 Pro, and Redmi K40 Pro+ were the only devices in the K40 series to be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship processor – Snapdragon 888. Prior to that, the Redmi K30 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom were the only handsets in the K30 series to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor.

Redmi, via a teaser, earlier this week had confirmed that a handset with 4,700mAh battery and 120W fast charging is launching soon. So, the Redmi K50 Pro could get a 4,700mAh battery unit. Xiaomi is expected to launch multiple devices under the Redmi K50 series. We should learn more about the upcoming Redmi K50 series devices in the coming days.
