Iqoo has launched a new mid-budget gaming phone, the Iqoo Z6 Pro in India. The latest smartphone from Iqoo is loaded with a 66W fast charging, 90Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 778G SoC, and more. The Iqoo Z6 Pro will be competing with the likes of the Realme 9 SE which is priced under Rs 20,000, and the last year Samsung Galaxy M52 5G which is priced at Rs 25,000. With the Iqoo Z6 Pro falling between these two devices, it would be interesting to see which emerges as the champion?

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G is available in two memory options: 6GB RAM+128GB for Rs 24,999 and 8GB RAM+128GB for Rs 26,999. It is available on Amazon, Samsung’s official online store, and major retail stores across the country.

The Iqoo Z6 Pro has a unique design. It has a big rectangle module in which an LED flash and two big circles that sports the cameras. The device has a waterdrop notch on the front which houses the front camera. The device is available in Blue and Black colour options.

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G offers a strip-like design at the back panel with a triple-camera module aligned at the top-right corner. The phone offers a punch-hole design at the top centre of the screen. It is available in Blazing Black and Icy Blue colour options.

Lastly, the Realme 9 SE has a sparkling design on the back with a vertical module in which there are three camera lenses and a LED flashlight. On the top left, it has a punch-hole cutout for the front camera. It is available in two colour options – Azure Glow and Starry Glow.

The Iqoo Z6 Pro 5G features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The screen has support for a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display supports HDR10+ and has a peak brightness of 1300 nits. In addition to this, there is a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 on top of the display.

The Realme 9 SE comes with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD with a resolution of 1080×2412 pixels. The screen has a 144Hz refresh rate display and 600 nits peak brightness. 

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G comes loaded with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and a 120Hz refresh rate.

All three devices feature a mid-range chipset, Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. These devices are backed by up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However, the Iqoo Z6 Pro comes with a 256GB variant which gives it a lead over the other two.

The Iqoo Z6 Pro and Realme 9 SE run on Android 12 based FunTouch OS 12 and Realme UI 3.0 respectively. While the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G boots Android 11-based OneUI out of the box.

The Iqoo Z6 Pro houses a triple-camera setup on the back. There is a 64MP main camera sensor which is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera sensor. Selfies and video calls are handled by a 16MP front shooter.

The Realme 9 SE comes with a 48MP main camera sensor, a 2MP B&W sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the phone has a 16MP front camera.

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G also comes with triple rear cameras with a 64MP primary lens, 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and 5MP depth sensor. For selfies, there is a 32MP shooter.

The Iqoo Z6 Pro has a 4700 mAh battery under the hood and supports 66W fast charging which the company claims can refuel the battery from 0 to 50 per cent in just 18 minutes. It is the fastest charging device among the three. The Galaxy M52 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. However, you only get a 15W charger in the retail box.

The Realme 9 SE packs a 5000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging out of the box.

The Iqoo Z6 Pro seems to be giving stiff competition to the Realme 9 SE and Samsung Galaxy M52 5G. The Realme 9 SE, priced lower than the others, comes with a lot of compromises while the Samsung Galaxy M52 also lacks some features. The Iqoo Z6 Pro has faster charging, a high refresh rate AMOLED display, up to 12GB RAM option, etc which makes it a better pick. That said, the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G is still a decent pick at this time as well.
