Life Insurance Corporation of India or LIC is a popular company in India when it comes to insurance and policies. The LIC offices are located all over India in major cities and towns. LIC has become synonymous with insurance in most Indian households, although it is facing heat from the competition in recent times. Current;y, the company is leading the market with a 61.6 per cent market share in terms of premiums.
LIC is estimated to have over 300 million policyholders, the company has to establish itself in all corners of India for payment of premiums from holders. While there are local agents and online portals that help you pay premiums, it is better for a policyholder to keep a check on the status of the policy. Keeping a track of status from time to time is equally important as buying the premium itself.
