Poco F4 5G to Get 2 Years of Warranty, Company Extends 6 Months Warranty for X3 Pro

Poco India is all set to launch the Poco F4 5G in the Indian market. The Poco F4 5G India launch event is scheduled for 5:30 PM today. Ahead of the launch, Poco country head – Himanshu Tandon has revealed that the brand will offer 2 years of warranty on the Poco F4 5G. This will make the Poco F4 the first Poco handset to come with 2 years warranty.

Alongside, Mr. Tandon revealed that the brand has decided to extend the warranty of the Poco X3 Pro by 6 months. This will be applicable to existing Poco X3 Pro users as well. Take a look at the announcement video.

Mr. Tandon in his short video said that several Poco X3 Pro users reached out to him personally and expressed their concerns about the Poco X3 Pro and so the brand has decided to take this step. To recall, the Poco X3 Pro was launched back in March 2021, so this means all the Poco X3 Pro units sold by the company to date are still under the warranty.

Mr. Tandon also shared that Poco now has over 2000 service centers in the country. Poco is projecting the Poco F4 as the successor to the OG Poco phone – the Poco F1. The device is likely a rebranded Redmi K40s which was announced a few months ago in China.

Poco F4 5G: Specifications and Features

The Poco F4 is confirmed to offer a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1300nits peak brightness. The display panel will come with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 layer

The Poco F4 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor and an Adreno 650 GPU. The system on chip on the device will be paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The Poco F4 will offer a triple-rear camera setup and an LED flash. This includes a 64MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro lens. The Poco F4 is confirmed to offer a 4500mAh battery and 67W fast charging support.
