Motorola has finally launched the much-awaited Moto X40 smartphone in the Chinese market. As speculated, the Moto X40 is the cheapest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered smartphone. The smartphone offers a 165Hz OLED display panel and a 50MP camera setup. It comes equipped with a 4600mAh battery and 125W fast charging support.

The all-new Moto X40 features a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, Full HD+ resolution, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is a 10-bit display that makes room for the front shooter inside a centered punch-hole notch.
The latest X-series smartphone from Moto is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor that brings with it an integrated Adreno 740 GPU. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is fabbed on TSMC’s 4nm process and makes use of a Kryo Prime core (based on the Cortex X3 core). It comes paired with up to 12GB LDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone boots MyUI 5.0, based on Android 13.
The all-new Moto X40 offers a triple-rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary shooter with OIS. It gets accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12MP portrait lens (with 2x optical zoom). The smartphone relies on a 60MP front shooter that takes care of selfies and video calls.
The latest X-series smartphone comes equipped with a 4600mAh battery unit and 125W TurboPower fast charging support. It supports 15W wireless charging as well as 15W reverse wireless charging. It relies on a Type-C port for charging and data transfers. The smartphone offers a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos.
The Moto X40 retails in two colour options – Smoky Black and Tourmaline Blue. It weighs 197 grams and weighs 161.3 × 73.9 × 8.5mm. The all-new Moto G53 5G sports a 6.5-inch LCD display panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, the latest G-series smartphone sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ processor and up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. It comes paired with 128GB of internal storage and supports up to 1TB microSD cards. It boots MyUI 5.0, based on Android 13.
The latest G-series smartphone offers a dual-rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP macro sensor. It relies on an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The smartphone comes equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit and 18W fast charging. It weighs 183 grams and measures 162.7 × 74.66 × 8.19mm. It features an IP52 rating and charges over a Type-C port.
