The 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant costs Rs. 19,999. The lowest variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory costs Rs. 13,999. Also, all three variants of the device have the ability to boost storage up to 256GB.

Honor 9N: Hands-On, First Impressions

During the sale, the websites are offering flat Rs. 2,000 instant. Also, the limited sale period is valid till stocks last. During the sale, the 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variant of the Honor 9N will be available at Rs. 11,999, the 4GB/64GB variant will cost Rs. 13,999, and the 4GB/128GB variant will cost Rs. 17,999.

Honor Play Review: Design and Build

The base variant of the smartphone carries a sticker price of Rs. 19,999. Interestingly, Honor recently boosted the internal storage of the Honor Play. The 6GB RAM variant now sports 128GB of internal storage. What’s even more exciting is that Honor has not increased the price of this variant despite doubling the storage memory.

The smartphone is available in three color options; Nebula Purple, Aurora Blue and Midnight Black. Huawei’s sub-brand has not confirmed yet if or when the upgraded storage model will land in India.

The Honor 9N sports a 5.84-inch LCD FHD+ screen with a resolution of 2280 x 1080. It features a sleek body, and has a 2.5D curved glass design, providing a mirror-like effect on the rear glass panel.

A HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset, clocked at 2.36 GHz, and paired with a Mali-T830 MP2 GPU, powers the device. The mobile comes in three storage variants – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage.

The smartphone features a 13MP + 2MP dual-camera setup that offers the bokeh effect as well. Also, the mobile phone has a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video-calling. The front camera offers portrait mode and 3D beauty effects.

Also, owing to a very narrow but visible notch, the smartphone boasts of an impressive 83% screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone comes in two configurations: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 64GB storage. There’s a hybrid SIM card tray for memory expansion.

A powerful Kirin 970 octa-core processor clocked at 2.4 GHz powers the smartphone. The CPU works with a Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. Also, there’s a dedicated NPU for AI features. Essentially, the Honor Play appears to be a great budget Android gaming smartphone.

The smartphone packs a dual camera setup on its back. The vertically stacked unit consists of 16MP + 2MP sensors. Also, on the front is a 16MP single sensor for selfies and video calls. The sensor uses pixel binning technology to achieve an effective pixel size of 2.0um. The Honor Play is also capable of capturing 4K footage at 30FPS (Frames Per Second).
