In July this year, Honor launched a new Note device in China. The Honor Note 10 is the phablet smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer, and will compete with the Galaxy Note series, and other large screen flagship phones.
Honor had announced an 8GB variant of the Note 10 during the launch, but it was not available for purchase, until now. You will be able to buy the most powerful version of the Note 10 in China, starting tomorrow.
The Honor Note 10, by all means, is a flagship device. It is also being advertised as a gaming phone with a big screen, because of the liquid cooling tech, CPU Turbo, and the GPU Turbo features.

Honor Note 10 8GB Variant: Price in China
The company officially announced that the Honor Note 10 with 8GB RAM will be available for purchase tomorrow. The smartphone will be priced at CNY 3,599, which equals to about $528. This variant will come with 128GB of internal storage.
As for the color options, that remains the same as the other variants. You can choose between a Midnight Black, or the Phantom Blue. The phone is still not available in India, and we are not sure when Honor plans on bringing it here. When it does, expect it to be priced around Rs. 35,000 and compete with other flagship phones such as the OnePlus 6, LG G7 ThinQ, Galaxy S9, and the Galaxy Note 9.
Honor Note 10: Specifications, Features
As mentioned earlier, the Honor Note 10 is a flagship phablet smartphone. It comes with a large 6.95-inch display, which has a Full HD+ resolution, and a tall 18.5:9 ratio. The display has 600 nits of brightness, 70000:1 contrast ratio, and supports HDR10. And, there is no notch on the phone, but the bezels are thinner on all sides.
Internally, the phone is powered by the Kirin 970 chipset from HiSilicon. What makes it more powerful, is the CPU Turbo and the GPU Turbo technology available in the phone. The phone also comes with a new nine-layer liquid cooling tech, which is supposed to improve cooling by up to 41 percent. A separate Turbo Mode button is available on the side of the phone, which when pressed, will put the CPU and GPU in full boost, and give you the best performance. You can use this mode when you are gaming. The button can also be mapped to be used as a camera shutter.

The GPU Turbo tech will improve the battery efficiency of the phone when gaming. Both the CPU and GPU Turbo modes, along with the nine-layer liquid cooling, makes the Honor Note 10 a good gaming phone as well. The phone comes with up to 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. You can also expand the storage thanks to the microSD slot. The phone can also be docked and be used as a PC, similar to Samsung’s DeX.
Honor has included dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support, which will provide a great experience when watch movies and gaming. Unfortunately, there is no headphone jack. In terms of camera hardware, the phone comes with a vertical dual-camera setup at the back. You get a main 16MP sensor which is coupled with a 24MP unit. You get AI support on the camera, which helps take better photos. At the front, there is a 13MP camera for selfies, which also gets AI support.
Because this is a big phone, with a big display, it also gets a large 5000mAh battery. It supports fast charging thanks to Huawei’s SuperCharge tech. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back, and the phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo software with EMUI 8.2 on top.
