The design of the Jio Phone 2 has seen a significant change from its predecessor the Jio Phone. Compared to the Jio Phone 2, this is an actual smartphone with VoLTE capacity.

The Micromax Bharat 2 consists of a 4-inch touchscreen, which comes with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The phone has a 512 MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage, although this could be expanded up to 32 GB via an SD card. The Bharat 2 is run on a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core processor and for the operating system has Android 6.0. The cameras provided in the Bharat 2 consists of a 2 MP primary, rear camera with a 0.3 MP front selfie shooter. Finally, the Bharat 2 packs a 1300mAh battery which has proven to be decent considering what the phone has to offer to its users.

The Bharat 2 has dual-SIM capabilities (both GSM) and supports 4G (Band 40), thus enabling LTE offered by many networks in the country. Both phones have different features and possibly purposes. With essential features and apps like Facebook and WhatsApp made available on the Jio Phone, it could also be used as a medium of communication for new users as well as someone who wants to keep two separate accounts on those apps.

The Micromax Bharat 2, available at Rs 2,552 is much cheaper than the Jio Phone 2 which is available at Rs. 2,999. The Bharat 2, however, is likely to have a greater appeal towards users for its a smartphone, with a full 4-inch touch screen and capable of doing much more than the Jio Phone 2. However, the user’s decision is set to be based upon their purpose with these low-budget phones, but overall both are good options for someone looking at a phone with 4G capabilities at that price range.
