The Lenovo Z5 was supposed to be a revolutionary flagship smartphone from the company. It teased us with a no-bezel display, biggest battery, and storage, and what not. In the end, nothing came to light, and we were all left disappointed. Nevertheless, the phone is still a pretty good mid-range smartphone.
It was launched in China a couple of months ago, but is still not available in many other regions around the world. For the price it is being sold at in China, it is doing quite well. Despite the company failing to keep its promises, customers in the country are very eager to buy this phone. The Blue and Black variants of the phone ran out of stock very quickly.
So yes, the phone was a success in China, and now, a third-party seller has brought the Lenovo Z5 to Malaysia. We are not sure when the phone will be launched in India, but we hope it does come soon. The Z5 has good competition in China now, after the launch of the new Motorola P30, and the Nokia X6.

Lenovo Z5: Features, Specifications
Alright, let us brief you a little on the Lenovo Z5 smartphone. The mid-range phone from the Chinese manufacturer is quite a deal at the price it is being sold for.
You get a large 6.2-inch LCD display which comes with Full HD+ resolution and a tall 19:9 aspect ratio. The bezels on the sides are slim, and there is a notch at the top. The phone has a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent. It is powered by the mid-range octa core Snapdragon 636 processor, which comes with the Adreno 509 GPU. This is a decent CPU and GPU combo, which can play most games, and do several tasks.
The phones are only available with 6GB of RAM, even in China, but you can choose between 64 or 128GB of internal storage. There is no microSD card slot available, which means you cannot add more storage. For cameras, you get a decent pair of sensors at the back, with AI features. The primary sensor is 16MP, and the secondary is an 8MP unit. The front of the phone also has an 8MP selfie camera.
A 3300mAh battery is available on the phone, which supports fast charging over USB Type-C. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back of the phone, and it comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with ZUI 4.0 on top.
