The Oppo sub-brand Realme has finally launched the much-anticipated Realme 2 in India on August 28 after teasing for quite a while. The device is the second Android offering from the company. Here we have compiled a list of top five features of the budget smartphone that you should know.

Realme 2: Price in India, Sale Date
Launched as a Flipkart exclusive in India, the Realme 2 will go on sale starting September 4 at 12 PM. The base version of the device is priced at Rs. 8,990 and the more expensive version with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage is priced at Rs.10,990. You will also get a screen protector attached to the device and the box also includes a protective case.
The company has announced several launch offers for the device. The HDFC Bank Credit and Debit card holders will be eligible for a cash back of Rs.750 upon buying any of the Realme 2 models. Realme has also partnered with Reliance Jio to offer up to Rs.4,200 worth of benefits upon the purchase of the Realme 2. Furthermore, users will also get offers on PayTM Flights and Lenskart.
Oppo Realme 2 Pro, the Higher Variant of Realme 2 Teased to Launch in India this September
While wrapping up the event, Realme gave an impression of an upgraded version of the Realme 2 that might go by the name of Realme 2 Pro. The device is expected to launch sometime next month. Since it will be the better version of the newly launched Realme 2, we can expect a price mark of around Rs.12,000 for the base variant.
