As mentioned above, the Apple special event will begin at 10 AM local time in New York City, which converts to 7:30 PM IST. Apple will be live streaming the event on its official website. What to Expect from the Apple October 2018 Special Event

Apple is expected to launch two new iPad Pro models at the event. While the smaller model is likely to feature an 11-inch display, the bigger model will sport a 12.9-inch display. Both the models are said to be powered by an A12X Bionic chipset, even more powerful than the A12 Bionic chip powering the latest iPhones. Alongside the two new iPad Pro models, Apple may also introduce a second-generation Apple Pencil with an all-new charging method. Moving on to Mac, Apple is rumored to launch a new low-cost 13” MacBook model that will replace the current 13-inch MacBook Air. In terms of design, the new MacBook is said to be similar to the current MacBook Air, although it will sport slimmer bezels and an upgraded Retina display. We also expect to see upgraded internals and a relatively affordable price tag. As claimed by Bloomberg, the new MacBook model will be priced under USD 1,000 in the US. In addition to the low-cost 13-inch MacBook, a new 12-inch MacBook refresh is likely to make an appearance at today’s event. Apple may also release refreshed iMac and iMac mini models at the event.

Some other products that could be launched today in Brooklyn, New York include a refreshed iMac Pro, the three-device AirPower wireless charging mat, and second-generation AirPods with noise cancellation and an upgraded wireless chip to support hands-free “Hey Siri” functionality.
