Last month, Huawei sub-brand Honor unveiled the Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max Android smartphones at an event held in China. While the Honor 8X is currently on sale only in China, Honor will soon begin the global rollout of the smartphone. The first market where the Honor 8X is being launched is the United Arab Emirates, where the Honor 8X will be formally launched at an event in Dubai at 19.45 PM IST. Apart from Dubai, the Honor 8X will also be launched in Madrid, Spain today.

Honor 8X: India Launch Date

The Honor 8X will be launched in the Indian market at an event in New Delhi on the 16^th of this month. While availability details will only be shared at the launch event later this month, it is likely that the smartphone will go on sale in India by the end of this month. Apart from India, the Honor 8X will be launched this month in a few other markets as well. It will be launched in Malaysia on October 9^th, Russia on October 10^th, Czech Republic on October 11^th, and in Thailand on October 24^th.

In terms of hardware specifications, the Honor 8X is a significant upgrade when compared to the Honor 7X that is on sale in India currently. As a result, Honor may decide to price the Honor 8X at a slight premium when compared to the Honor 7X. That said, we do expect the 4GB RAM variant of the Honor 8X to be priced under the Rs.15,000 mark. On the other hand, the 6GB RAM variant will no doubt be priced around Rs.18,000 in the country.
