Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro will be available for sale on Amazon India and Mi.com today. The top-end model in the recently launched Xiaomi Redmi 6 Series has participated in quite a few Flash Sales, and we expect this one too, could proceed very briskly.
The Redmi 6 Pro is a capable yet affordable Android smartphone from Xiaomi. It competes with Realme 2, Micromax YU Ace and other similarly priced handsets. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is available in two variants. The base variant of the smartphone with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage costs Rs. 10,999. The other higher-end variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage costs Rs 12,999. The handset comes in Blue, Black, and Gold colors as well as a special RED Edition. Incidentally, Xioami hasn’t priced the variants differently based on the color.
Both the Redmi 6 Pro variants will be available during a Flash Sale on Amazon India and Xiaomi Mi Store starting 12PM today, October 2. Currently a ‘Notify Me’ is placed on Amazon India which allows interested buyers to receive a reminder about the sale. Beneath the Notify Me options, is a single offer from Indian 4G mobile operator Reliance Jio. The telecom company is offering Rs. 2,200 instant cash-back as part of the recharge vouchers to Redmi 6 Pro buyers. In addition to the cash-back, buyers will also get up to 4.5TB of high speed 4G data.
During previous sale, buyers procuring the Redmi 6 Series devices from Amazon using ICICI Bank Debit/Credit Cards were entitled to a 5 percent discount. While the offering isn’t visible yet, Amazon may include the same, and perhaps extend the same for Axis Bank Credit Card as well.
The Redmi 6 Pro listing on Mi.com mentions the same Jio 4G data and cash-back offer. Moreover, buyers get a 3 month complimentary access to Hungama Music as well. Xiaomi offers a Mi Protect handset protection program at just Rs. 799 per year. Buyers can also exchange select old smartphones under Mi Exchange program.

The Redmi 6 Pro features a 5.84-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with 1080 x 2280 resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio as well as an impressive pixel density of 432 PPI. Thanks to the notch, the smartphone boasts of a respectable screen to body ratio of 79.5 percent.
An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.0GHz, paired with Adreno 506 GPU, powers the Redmi 6 Pro. The device comes in 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB memory configurations.
