HMD Global recently sent out the press release for an event in India, wherein the company invited the media for a launch event slated for June 6, 2019. Reports hint that the company is launching the Nokia 9 Pureview and Nokia 1 Plus in India. Not just India though, HMD Global is also holding an event in Milan, Italy on the same day. The media invite for that event does not reveal much but reports suggest that the company could launch the Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 5.2 at the event.

The event in Italy could be the launch stage for the Nokia 6.2 and the Nokia 5.2, both the phones have also been featured on rumor mills. One of the rumors also hinted that HMD Global could soon make them official. Nokia recently launched the Nokia X71 smartphone in China. It would be interesting to see how Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 5.2 turn out. Their predecessors, Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 5.1 had an unbeaten run in the markets like India.
One of the recent rumors around Nokia 6.2 suggests that it is the rebranded Nokia X71. This comes from the genuine case makers of Nokia phones. Concerning Nokia 5.2, there are not many reports. It is expected to be a watered-down version of the Nokia 6.2 though.
Nokia 6.2 aka Nokia X71 Specifications and Features
If the rumors are to be believed and Nokia 6.2 is a rebranded version of the Nokia X71, then here are the specs. The phone has a 6.39-inch full-HD+ display with 19.3:9 aspect ratio. It has a hole-punch design with the selfie camera neatly tucked in the top left corner of the screen enabling full-screen real estate. A Snapdragon 660 SoC powers the phone with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
For optics, the phone has a 48MP+5MP+8MP triple camera setup, wherein the second and third sensors are the depth of field and ultra wide-angle sensors. On the front, the phone has a 16MP selfie camera. A 3,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging backs the smartphone with connectivity features such as dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C, USB OTG, Bluetooth 5, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
In India, the company will be launching the Penta-lens Nokia 9 Pureview smartphone alongside the Nokia 1 Plus on June 6, 2019. The Nokia 9 Pureview is a flagship with five camera sensors on the rear while the Nokia 1 Plus is a budget phone. Concerning pricing, the Nokia 9 Pureview could be launched under 45K price bracket in India while the Nokia 1 Plus could fall under 5K pricing segment.
