OnePlus 7 Sale Date for India Announced, to be Available Via Amazon at a Starting Price of Rs.32,999

OnePlus has announced on Twitter that the that recently launched OnePlus 7 will go on sale starting 12 PM on 4th June through Amazon India. The e-commerce website, Amazon India, has also put a poster for the same on its platform.

To recall, the OnePlus 7 was launched in India alongside the OnePlus 7 Pro on 14th May. However, at the time of launch, OnePlus did not reveal the availability details of the OnePlus 7 for India. The brand only revealed the availability details of the OnePlus 7 Pro, stating that it will go on sale starting from 17th May. And since then, many people have been eager to know from when will the OnePlus 7 will go on sale in India. Well, now you know; you can buy it starting from 4th June.

OnePlus 7 Price in India

The One Plus 7 comes in a total of two variants in India – 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The former costs INR 32,999 and the latter costs INR 37,999.

OnePlus 7 Specifications

The OnePlus 7 features a 6.41-inch AMOLED display, and the brand calls it ‘Optic AMOLED.’ The display has Full HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The screen has a tiny, V-shaped notch at the top that houses the camera and the earpiece, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. The screen also features an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The smartphone features a 48MP + 5MP dual-camera at the back. The 48MP camera is the primary camera sensor with a conventional field of view, f/1.7 aperture, phase-detection autofocus, and most importantly, OIS. The 5MP camera is a depth sensor to help the primary camera take portrait shots. The rear camera setup can record 4K videos at 60 frames per second as well. The front-facing camera of the OnePlus 7 is a 16MP unit with f/1.7 aperture.

The OnePlus 7 packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. This is the flagship chipset from Qualcomm for the year 2019. Moreover, it is one of the most powerful chipsets in the market. The chipset has one Kryo 485 core clocked at 2.84GHz, three Kryo 485 cores clocked at 2.42GHz, four Kryo 485 cores clocked at 1.8GHz, and Adreno 630 GPU. The device comes in two configurations in India – 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Speaking of storage, the device uses UFS 3.0 storage chips, which are faster than the chips based on UFS 2.1 technology. The device comes loaded with Android 9 Pie operating system that has Oxygen OS 9 customization.

The smartphone is powered by a 3700mAh battery. And it supports 20W DASH Charge fast charging. The device features USB 3.1 Type-C port, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, and dual-SIM with dual-VoLTE. The OnePlus 7, unfortunately, misses out on 3.5mm audio jack.
