Realme 7, Realme 7 Pro India Launch Date Revealed; 65W Fast Charging and Flipkart availability announced

Realme has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming mid-range smartphones Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro in India. The handsets, as expected, will break covers in the country on September 3rd. The vendor even announced the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro availability on Flipkart, as well as their blind order details and key features. The phones will ship with a 65W SuperDard charging solution, which is likely to be the fastest in the price segment. The charging tech is said to offer three rounds of PUBG, 3.5 hours of voice calling, and 2.5 hours of screentime in just three minutes. Additionally, the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro will tout punch-hole displays and TuV Rheinland certification.

The rear panel of the handsets, as teased previously, will flaunt quad camera setup, stacked vertically in the top left corner. The cameras are expected to be headlined by Sony’s 64MP primary sensor. The company is said to reveal more details about the handsets tomorrow, i.e August 28th, so stay tuned.

The company has announced blind order sale where interested buyers can pay Rs 1,000 now and the remaining between September 3rd-15th to get their hands on the handsets. Customers buying Realme 7 during the blind order sale users will get Rs 100 off coupon that is valid on AIoT products from the brand and Rs 500 to Rs 1,000 random discount for Realme 7 Pro buyers.

The Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro both are expected to ship with mid-range 4G chipsets under the hood. The handsets may boot Android 10-based Realme UI out of the box to take care of its software side of things. The 7 Pro may sport an AMOLED screen with 60Hz refresh rate, while the vanilla Realme 7, could pack an IPS display with 90Hz refresh rate instead of 120Hz as rumoured before. As for the price, the Realme 7 series could cost somewhere in between Rs 15,000-Rs 20,000.
