Infinix is reportedly working on launching a new smartphone, dubbed the Infinix Note 8i. Though the brand has not officially said anything about the device so far, we have today spotted it on the Google Play Console listing, which invariably hints at an imminent launch. The Google Play Console listing for the Infinix Note 8i reveals its key specifications and features, plus its live shots as well. Notably, the Infinix Note 8i will feature a punch-hole display and will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G70 processor. Infinix Note 8i Google Play Console listing reveals key details
As seen in the Google Play Console listing for the device, the Infinix Note 8i will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G70 processor, which will be paired with 4GB of RAM. We can, however, expect that the Infinix Note 8i will launch in more memory variants as well. The display of the device will be an HD+ panel and will have a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, which will be located in the top left corner of the device’s display. Lastly, the Infinix Note 8i will boot the latest Android 10 OS out of the box. Other than what we mentioned, the Google Play Console listing does not tell us anything else about the Infinix Note 8i.
Infinix Note 8i visits Geekbench and FCC
Furthermore, the Infinix Note 8i has also been spotted on the Geekbench database website and the FCC certification website. Starting with the Geekbench scores, the device managed to pull off 394 in the single-core test and 1,385 in the multi-core test. The Geekbench listing for the Infinix Note 8i double checks the specifications revealed via the Google Play Console listing.
Coming to the FCC certification for the device, the FCC certification reveals that the Infinix Note 8i will feature a quadruple rear camera setup. The device will be fueled by a large 5,100mAh battery over a USB Type-C charging port.
As seen in the images above, the Infinix Note 8i will feature a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom. The device will come bundled with a pair of earphones. Furthermore, the schematic diagrams (shown below) confirm that the device will feature a dedicated SIM card slot. The power button and the volume up and down buttons will be located on the left side.
